Columbus Silver Corporation has a multi-disciplined management team with a strong background in resource company development, years of experience in the mining industry and an exceptional record of discovery and successful mine development. Exploration and project generative activities are carried out exclusively for Columbus by Cordilleran Exploration Company (Cordex). Cordex is perhaps one of the most recognized and successful exploration groups in Nevada and arguably all of the United States. Columbus Silver controls a 100% interest in 7 silver properties in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Columbus Silver's Mogollon Project in New Mexico covers an extensive, silver-gold bearing epithermal vein field with geological similarities to Comstock Lode, Nevada and Guanajuato District, Mexico. The Mogollon Project has reported historical* production from 1905 to 1942 of 15,700,000 ounces silver and 327,000 ounces gold. Drilling in the 1980's outlined a partially delineated deposit of 845,000 tons averaging 9.35 opt silver and 0.15 opt gold (767,000 tonnes averaging 320 g/t silver and 5.1 g/t gold) and the deposit is open along strike and at depth. Dozens of mineralized and potentially mineralized veins with a combined strike length of more than 45 miles (72 km), that have never been drill tested, provide potential for considerable resource expansion. Phase I drilling commenced in January 2010.
