Ferguson Flats

Columbus Silver - Ferguson Flats Property
The Ferguson Flats Property is located approximately 35 kilometres (20 miles) southwest of Wendover, Nevada in Elko County, Nevada. The property is 13 kilometres (8 miles) east of the Kinsley Mine, which produced approximately 400,000 ounces of gold from a Carlin-type deposit mined by Cominco in the mid-1980's. Subject to net smelter royalties, Columbus controls a 100% interest in the property.

Geology
Silver mineralization at Ferguson Flats occurs within Permian sedimentary rocks along a north-south trending structural zone which has been traced for at least 3.2 kilometers (2 miles) with 85% of the zone under shallow cover. Silver values in surface sampling range from anomalous to 514 g/t (15 opt), and are associated with barite veins and stockworks that also contain high values of copper, lead, arsenic, bismuth, and molybdenum.

Past Work
Several historical claim posts and trenches exist on the property, however, no data has been found on the owners or operators of the historical work. Since acquiring the property Columbus has mapped and traced the structural zone for a length of approximately 3 kilometers (2 miles). Detailed mapping of the project area along with thorough sampling and a ground magnetic survey have been completed.

Planned Program
Several targets have been identified for drilling at Ferguson Flats.
